Copper baths are hand-hammered from a heavy-gauge sheet of solid copper. The material is lightweight but strong and is an excellent heat conductor ensuring water remains warm longer. Aquitaine is luxuriously deep and offers real ergonomic comfort to the bather. Baths come with the option of being antiqued, burnished or polished, and can be lacquered to retain the original copper lustre over time or left unlacquered to allow the exterior of the bath to slowly age to a shade of verdigris giving it an air of authenticity. Copper bath interiors are nickel plated adding a lovely sheen and ensuring the baths longevity. |
